Prepping Your home For Sale
Follow these great tips when you are prepping your home for sale:
- Stage each living area to help potential buyers imagine living in that space. This will usually have a strong effect on a buyer.
- Keep all rooms clean, including children rooms, and don’t forget to empty the waste baskets.
- Remove clutter and extra furniture to help the space feel clean and larger.
- Remember to put away all the cleaning supplies after cleaning is completed.
- Don’t forget to clean up all debris outside of the home as this is what a buyer will see first.
- If your homes siding is dirty you may choose to pressure wash it, this is one of our low cost selling tips that can be found on our Low Or No Cost Selling Tips blog.
- A nice clean smelling aroma helps but don’t go crazy with air fresheners or scents, just keep it reasonable. Simply making a pot of coffee can do wonders.
- Remember a lit room is better than a dark room
- Put those toilet seats down, close all cabinet and closet doors.
- Replace those unlit or bad light bulbs, consider whether your bulbs are bright enough but don’t go overboard with extreme wattage.
